CPD training for new PE Leads, for those who want refresher training or a whole staff CPD session on 60 Active Minutes and Physical Literacy.
Sessions last a maximum of an hour.
Areas discussed:
The Chief Medical Officer recommends that young people aged 5-18 should take part in an average of 60 minutes of moderate/ vigorous Physical Activity a day across the week (or 20 minutes per day for Disabled Children and Disabled Young People).
Physical literacy is our relationship with movement and physical activity throughout life.
Understanding how positive experiences in physical movement helps individuals lead a healthy, active life, fostering a lifelong connection with movement.
