This course is aimed at qualified primary teachers, NQT’s and also HLTA & TA’s who have some responsibility for PE delivery.

The course is designed to explore what the National Curriculum for PE looks like, it is not a football course but  football will be used as a vehicle to deliver certain aspects of the curriculum.

Workshops will include:

• National Curriculum for PE, School Sport Premium, Purpose of PE (theory)
• Planning & Delivering the Fundamentals of Movement & Fundamental Sports Skills from the curriculum with Multi- directional games (practical)

• Planning and Delivering the Principles of attacking and defending through modified games with directional games (practical)
• Running a School team -philosophies, picking a team, formations, small sided football formats, match day preparation & support (theory/practical)
